Guesthouse-Marknagil is located centrally in the south-western Tórshavn, 20 minutes’ walk from the city centre.
It offers free Wi-Fi and parking as well as panoramic views of the Nólsoy fjord.
All our rooms are no-smoking only rooms. We never compromise on the quality, which is to deliver a neat and clean hotel room with the facilities needed. We have eliminated the superfluous services and you will not find a telephone or a mini bar in your hotel room. In the corridor, we have placed Coffee/tea and condiments are available free of charge and a kettle for hot water.
Each room at Guesthouse-Marknagil has a work table and a private bathroom.
Free public buses stop 100 yards from Guesthouse Marknagil 2-3 times per hour.
Breakfast is a large breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon, sausages, freshly baked bread, cold rolls, faroese sausage, cheese, jam, honey, several kinds of yogurt, and cereal. To quench your thirst, you can drink freshly brewed coffee, tea, cocoa, water, milk and juice.
Guesthouse-Marknagil serves early breakfast on request. Activities on offer include billiards.
Guesthouse Marknagil has 2-stars. During the school year, students attending the polytechnic live on site. We are open for summer guests from late June to mid-August when the students have left back home.
We have a large cafeteria where local Faroese dishes are served from the freshest fish to salmon, choice cuts of lamb along with unique dairy products and pure Faroese water.
